The Outspoken Member of Parliament (MP) for Assin North, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, is hugely disappointed in his party, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for abandoning him during his trying times.
According to him, the party has treated him unfairly, leaving him to fight his battle alone ever since he was charged with treason after allegedly making inflammatory statements inciting Ashantis against the Gas and Ewes.
Speaking in an interview on AdomFM, the Assin North MP recalled how he had to fight alone in court without the help or
support of the party he has sacrificed for over the years.
“…even the people i call my friends in the party, people i fed and took care of has also abandoned me in difficult times,” he added.
The NPP firebrand was emphatic that his party is not worth dying for, citing the massive support Director of Communications at the Presidency, Koku Anyidoho has enjoyed within his party since his ‘reckless’ statement involving the purported dismissal of the Ashanti Regional Director of ECG over the floodlight malfunction at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium during the Ghana-Lesotho World Cup qualifier.
The embattled MP made it very clear that he is very peeved at the NPP for abandoning him when he needed the party’s support the most.
