Christian Obodo
Former Super Eagles midfielder, Christian Obodo, was kidnapped on Saturday morning by gun-wielding men in Effurun-Warri, Delta State, Nigeria.
Obodo, who last season played for the relegated Lecce in the Italian Serie A, arrived the country few weeks ago after the conclusion of the season.
Eyewitness say the footballer was snatched from the Zion Ministry Church located on New Layout Road, Effurun by gunmen. As of the time of writing this report, his location is unknown and no call has yet been made to his family or friends concerning a ransom or anything along that lines
