Authoritative reports reaching GhanaCrunch.Com has it that Black Star’s new captain, Asamoah Gyan just lost his mother to a automobile crash in Accra yesterday, 6th November, 2012.
According to eye-witness accounts, the accident happened on Tuesday afternoon after driving her posh Toyota SUV into a pillar at the Teachers’ Hall in Accra.
Shortly after the accident, Gyan’s mum, Cecilia Amoako was rushed to the Ridge Hospital where she died on arrival.
According to an eyewitness account, madam Amoako, a teacher, lost control of the car’s steering wheel which led to her death at the hospital in the west African country’s capital, Accra.
No official word has come from the Al-Ain striker’s family, but the remains of the deceased have been deposited at the Ridge Hospital morgue.
Such a sad day…too many bad news coming in.
